During this workshop I would like to share with you some tips that can help you take care of the quality of the relationships you are longing for. I will present you the concept of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and offer you simple tools that you can use in your everyday life.
Knowing up-to-date approaches and tools strengthening communication skills can help a lot and make your life easier and more rewarding. Caring about the way we communicate matters at homes, companies, organizations and intercultural environment.
That is why I’m offering a lecture inspired by the teachings of Marshall Rosenberg, author of the Nonviolent Communication (NVC). Nonviolent Communication is used at homes and workplaces more and more and helps people to understand why, despite good intentions, communication is challenging for us and what can we do to improve mutual understanding.
Nonviolent Communication is an approach that puts empathy and contact into the centre of communication and conflict resolution, showing that there are feelings and needs behind everything that people say or do. It underlines that a small change in the words we use can support working environment and build atmosphere of trust and cooperation.
