A teacher-turned-scrum-master who apart from everything scrum and agile also likes anything systemic (needlessly complicated board games, anyone?). Last year he got a free hand at devising the system in which his teams would be working and communicating. The newly formed team turned out to be a huge success in the end and it was no coincidence – it was the result of a carefully planned Small Scale Scrumming.

Small Scale Scrumming

Scaling scrum always looks like a big challenge and many organisations resist scaling attempts in fear of creating chaos or a lot of ineffective coordinating meetings. Sometimes though, it's worth it to use the scaling techniques in a more local context to free up the potential in your teams that might have gotten just a little big too big and a little bit too rigid. I'll share what we did in our company and maybe will get you inspired to try it out at yours!
