I specialize in ways of working. I build effective teams and supportive communities, I level up organisations. I work with values, people, data, and processes. I love learning and sharing knowledge. I have been developing as a leader since 2003, and as a trainer, facilitator, and mentor since 2006. I like asking questions, I am extremely curious about the world, people, and the processes that occur between them. I am currently working as a Scrum/Kanban Master and Agile Coach at Danone. Privately, I love adventures, sports, traveling, and people. And cats. Cats are the best.
How to Communicate Metrics to Build Engagement
Most of us are probably aware of the value of working with data. At the same time, there are certainly people among us who would like to start, but do not know where to start. There are probably people among us who have already had their first attempts, but they did not delight the team, and the metrics themselves died a tragic death.
I've been there, seen that. Based on my own mistakes, a sense of shame in front of the team and setbacks, while working with many Scrum and Kanban teams, I will guide you through the practices that helped me start doing it right. I will show you how to include working with metrics in our everyday life and start improving based on data.
So if you want to work better with metrics and engage the entire team, you want to base your work on data and make a significant contribution to retrospectives, or you know how important metrics are, but you have always found it difficult to communicate them effectively with the team, then I invite you for tips :)
Workshop—How to Communicate Metrics to Build Engagement
Do you want to work better with metrics and engage your entire team? Do you want to base your work on data and make a meaningful contribution to retrospectives? Do you know how important metrics are, but have always struggled to communicate them effectively with your team? This workshop is perfect for you! :)
We will start by defining the purpose and place of our activities in the life of the team. We will discuss basic process metrics and how to talk about them with the team in a way that builds engagement and a sense of safety.
During the workshop, you will learn:
1. How to communicate metrics effectively so that the team feels engaged and safe.
2. How to engage the team in working with data to collectively strive for growth, rather than judging people.
3. How to create a culture of trust and openness around metrics.
We will end the workshop with an analysis of real-life cases, first from my teams and then from yours, so that you can leave with ideas ready to implement the next day.
