Explore Warsaw
First time in Warsaw?
Make the most of your stay and discover Warsaw beyond the conference venue. Whether you are interested in history, culture, green spaces or local neighbourhoods, there is plenty to explore—even if you only have a few hours.
Walk through history
Take a walk along the Royal Route, explore the reconstructed Old Town and see some of Warsaw’s most recognisable landmarks. Finish your evening with dinner nearby or continue towards the Vistula River for a relaxed view of the city.
Looking for a museum?
Visit the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews or the Warsaw Rising Museum to better understand the history of Warsaw and Central Europe. Both offer extensive exhibitions, so allow at least two to three hours for your visit.
Need some fresh air?
Take a break from the busy conference schedule in the Royal Łazienki Park, one of Warsaw’s most beautiful green spaces. Walk around the lake, visit the Palace on the Isle and stop by the famous Chopin Monument.
Or maybe something more local?
Cross the river and discover Praga, a district known for its historic streets, creative spaces and more informal atmosphere. Visit the Koneser complex, explore the area around Ząbkowska Street or walk back to the city centre across the pedestrian bridge.
Getting around
Warsaw is easy to explore using public transport, including the metro, trams and buses. Tickets are valid across all three modes and can be purchased from ticket machines, selected mobile apps or machines available on some vehicles.
For shorter distances, walking is often the best option, especially around the city centre, the Royal Route and the Old Town. Taxis and ride-hailing services are also widely available.
