I am a Product Strategy & Operations leader working at the intersection of organizational design, product operating models and agile product development. Over the past 7+ years, I have partnered hands-on with C-level, product and engineering leaders to improve decision-making, prioritization, cross-functional alignment and delivery flow in growing product organizations. Most recently, I led a LeSS-inspired transformation, helping the company move from fragmented ownership and resource-based coordination toward one Product Backlog, feature teams and stronger end-to-end ownership.
The Blind Spot of Resource Management: When Fragmentation Becomes a Complexity Tax
This talk is based on a real case study of a Ukrainian PropTech company that redesigned its product organization during wartime. It explores how a resource-management approach created fragmented ownership, multiple backlogs, handoffs and coordination overhead — and how this fragmentation became a complexity tax on the whole system. The story shares the shift toward a LeSS-inspired organizational design and greater organizational adaptability. It also shows how Org Topologies helped assess the results of the transformation, reveal remaining gaps, and turn them into lessons learned for the next stage of organizational design.
