Jantine Beckers

Jantine is a Manager at Deloitte, specialising in value-driven (agile) transformations. She has evolved from a software tester and QA Lead role in a SaaS environment to Enterprise Agile Coach and now Manager in enterprise-wide tech transformations. This has made her very aware of the challenges for teams and organizations to let Agile drive their productivity and impact.

With 8+ years of experience in technology transformations, she helps organisations achieve their strategic objectives by focusing on value in their end-to-end processes, balancing business goals with the human side of change. She has successfully prepared and led multiple agile transformations, has been Enterprise Agile Coach to 70+ people and advised CEOs and CIOs in their transformation towards a product-oriented organisation.

Agile Value Realization: Facilitating “Quick Waterfall” to Value-Driven Agile

For many organizations, “agility” means “speed”; leaders want faster decisions and faster delivery. The caveat: this mindset does not take value into account. Consequently, these organisations are still at risk to just deliver “features” instead of “value” and to take the same “bad” decisions, only in shorter cycles. We call this phenomenon "quick waterfall", not agile.
